Under the microscope.

A detailed look at the section through the fleshy flowering portion of a veining plant.  My students are examining the use of the Comic as a format for displaying multiple levels of scale & detail within the same layout.  This helps to fully integrate multiple understandings of a project and reduce the overall complexity of a large body of work to a few pages.  Here I am using the comic overlay frame to magnify regions of the sectioned flower in order to examine its internal structures in greater detail.
